Ok, what was the logical reason in taking away the combo finisher from Phantasmal Berserker? Mesmers were already lacking in the Combos category and this did nothing beneficial to that. So, I’m proposing several changes:

1. Give back Phantasmal Berserker the Combo Finisher: Whirl
2. Make the area Mind Stab hits bigger
3. Give Mind Stab Combo Finisher: Blast
4. Illusionary Wave creates an Ethereal Combo Field

Mind Stab has needed to be improved since it was changed into a ground target and the Blast finisher is something everyone agrees would be a positive improvement to the Mesmer’s combos and Mind Stab in general. It would also be a good idea to have Illusionary Wave create another combo field for Mesmers to use. This would give the Mesmer an option for more group support.

This would bring Phantasmal Berserker back to the way it was, improve Mind Stab (which it desperately could use), give Mesmers a little bit better AoE and gives the Mesmer more combo potential overall. Thoughts?

Afaik, that was a fluke and it still works. (just as all phantasms that count as finishers, its just not in the description)
The other nerfs on GS have been aknowlaged to be bugs and will be fixed according to the devs.

iBezerker is definitely still a whirl finisher in PvE. I didn’t notice if the Confounding Bolts popped up but I did wind up planting confusion with it.

sPvP I’m not so sure about. I’m definitely getting the finisher graphic in HotM, but every test resulted in a lack of confusion. Idk if it’s just my bad luck or if it’s broken on that side of things, so if someone else can confirm that’d be great.

I was noticing the graphic for the confounding bolts (little heart icon thing) but saw no confusion associated with it after a few different tries. This was in WvW, but like the previous poster I supposed I could have been getting super unlucky.
