Guild Wars 2

So most people tell me I play Mesmer weird and my build is odd so figure i would ask thoughts and give a explanation of how I play.

My objective: I normally rush to the point where their team initially heads and will fight 3-5 players while rest of my team controls the map. I can normally kill these players unless they are ultra organized and can actually focus me well. (This is only at start of map) After I control point or am downed I will meet back up with party and help control points.

Build Great Sword/Staff
First here is my build that I am still tweaking.

Opening
Stage 1: Open at range with my great-sword using #2 and #4(to snare) If i see boons ill use #3 if not ignore. I will chill back max range while my 2 illusions go at the target with me auto attacking(max range for max damage). Use #5 to keep opponent at range or get melee off me or interrupt certain spells.

Mid fight/Adds
Stage2: If other opponents or players add ill shatter clones then pop staff and rush into melee range(this helps cluster enemies a majority of the time). Use staff #2 and then skill#8(Mirror Images 3 clones out) I will hang out for a bit unless i am taking to much damage. I use etherfeast any time its up and my health is lower than 80%. Once all enemies are actually clustered or directly on top of me Ill pop #4 and #5. Maintain clones while auto-attacking and getting out as many boons/conditions.

Near a Kill
Stage3: Target is low. Swap back to great sword shatter clones use #2 and #4 then auto attacks should hopefully finish him.

Help I am Dying
*if health drops below 65% and heal is not up pop decoy and try to hide myself while maintaining max clones.
*If I can tell I will end up dying I will monitor the situation and get 2 clones out pop decoy and find a safe spot then after I am healed I will join back into the fight(usually clones are still alive and fighting when i come back in)
*specific player is dominating me MM(moa morph) him.

Notes: I rarely use mirror images with greatsword since i can get clones out fast enough without it(IF i feel i can down the target fast from my first image and auto attacks then I will go ahead and mirror for more dmg). My main goal is to dps while maintaining clones. 1v1 I rarely have to swap to staff as I dps most classes down pretty fast exception is some guardians and other mesmers. When using greatsword I try to stay close to max range for max damage. If i notice a clone going down and have abilities up to get at least 2 out immediately then I will shatter.

On my sigil and runes I still haven’t really decided.
