I’ve thought a bit about this skill and I came to the point to ask what happens if you pass the same wall twice? Will it lower your cooldown twice? It could be, right?

3 possible ways to do so:

1. the blink way (easy)
   step 1: Cast tides of time
   step 2: run after your tides of time
   step 3: catch it as soon as it starts returning
   step 4: blink to a spot where it will pass through
2. the phase retreat way (medium)
   step 1: cast tides of time
   step 2: run after your tides of time
   step 3: catch it as soon as it starts returning
   step 4: swap weapons
   step 5: phase retreat to a spot where it will pass through
3. the illusionary leap way (hard)
   step 1: cast tides of time
   step 2: run after your tides of time
   step 3: cast illusionary leap on an enemy (make sure that you are between your wall and the enemy)
   step 4: catch it as soon as it starts returning
   step 5: swap to reach the spot where your tides of time will pass through

I guess it’s possible with portal as well but I like the ones with phase retreat and iLeap more, they are more skill based and do not require to burn a utility.

Wait. I wonder what it does if I walk through the SAME wall twice :P

I’ve been wondering this as well. I think probably the most reliable way to do it would be iLeap → ToT → swap.

I don’t think they have a counter to see how many times you catched a single wall and to prevent you from getting it twice…

It would also be interesting to see if other mesmers’ Wall affects your cooldown.

running 4 mesmers you would be able to spam it
