An interesting thing happened to me yesterday while spvp. so now I want your thought on it.

While down, I tried to Rez but this warrior keep taping me, preventing me from rezing. This took me out of action long enough for then to cap all station given them a major head start. I find this very interesting so I tried it on someone on the opposite faction and behold, it worked. Taking them out of the fight almost changed the fight but it was too late.

So I ask you all, what do you think of this and do you also do this ot others.

people have been doing this since release. It’s a very good tactic but hard to pull off since there are soo many aes.

It only works on people stubborn enough to try and keep reviving. However, it works incredibly well on those people.

I’m confused. So instead of stomping a downed player you just smack him once to interrupt his self-heal and then move on? Repeat every couple seconds?

Correct. So instead of that person doing anything useful, they’re stuck doing nothing in down state.

It’s a useful tactic at times, but circumstantial – as Pyro said. If you try to do it when you’re in a precarious fight then the person may rally off you or an ally, or even get revived by one of his allies.

Some classes are more ignorable when downed than others too.
