Guild Wars 2

Looking at the guide section, lots of builds, it all looks like two years ago. Are they still valid builds, or is there somewhere to look for a more up to date low-down on the weapons? A long time ago I was using a gs/staff bounce/shatter build, but the staff 1 feels super weak now, not sure if its just me or something changed, or I was crazy int he first place.
