I’d like to know how much gold you can farm me in an hour. I’ll need a rough average. If you could send me your earning hourly so I can keep a record (with proof) It’d be much appreciated.

Congratulations on your Beta portal thing ! I really appriciate your support since I couldn’t get one and really wondering how Chronomancer will turn out to be !

First of all I’d like to know about Chronomancer trait line but i guess they’ll be showing that to us before beta testing ?

I’d really like to know how alacrity impacts our cooldowns really and how much we can get out of it. It looks like a unique mechanic so far.(though there are only 2 specializations revealed) I think that we can do more with faster cooldowns regarding phantasm summoning and utilites.

You could really try phantasm and shatter builds and how they get the most use of alacrity mechanic. Never been to PvP much so all I can think is how chronomancer will effect us PvE-wise. ( I know most people don’t care PvE since it’s doable either way.)

Specifically I’m super excited about Chronophantasm trait (told to be GM trait) and how much it can bring to phantasm builds.

I also need to mention wells which looks so good ! It’s so exciting that mesmer will have some proper AoE at last. (at the cost of a utility slot though :/ ) They really seem to have a good group support potential and I like they go off in like 3 seconds and do something cool in the end. We have enough interrupts to keep things in the well’s range until it goes off i guess. I’m really hoping that there’ll be good traits about wells in Chronomancer trait line so we can bring out their maximum potential.

That’s all I can think of atm. I’ll make sure to post here if anything else comes up

Peters and I discussed the chronomancer traits thing today. We’ll try to get something out to you guys as soon as we can (next week at the earliest, obviously).

I don’t think the specializations, not even the trait rework, will be included in the Beta Test.

But well, IF the trait rework is included, I’d like to know, how the trait “Duelist’s Discipline” is calculated. (If the 50% recharge reduction is calculated from the base cd or from the current cd left.) F.e. if the remaining cd of “Magic Bullet” is 10 seconds, and you are interrupting a target, is the skill fully recharged (-50% from base recharge), or if it only gets reduced by 50%, and therefore leaving “Magic Bullet” with 5 seconds cd.

I was there when this happened.

Things I am curious about:

— Confusing Combatants. How noticeable is the confusion application and damage from this?

— How much does having IP baseline affect how you play your Mesmer (as an overall quality-of-life change). Do you still think you need DE? Will you still feel like playing the pure shatter damage build you do in PvE?

Why don’t you tell us about HoT in general!? What’s the content like? Is it fun? Do you think Mesmers will have a huge role in content progession, etc.

If you do want to test things, I already had a list of things that might be display bugs, likely to change so or simply unknown… but it’s a fairly long and mostly unimportant list, so you’re quite welcome to ditch it and hunt the wyvern or whatever instead.

Chaotic dampening: Does it trigger protection on combo chaos armour or just the spell? Can you get the chaos storm cooldown to 13 seconds as predicted?
Confusing combatants: Does it have an ICD/how many stacks do you get?
Persistence of memory: Probably not 2% – what is it really?
Protected phantasms: Does this really have an ICD or is that a bug?
Illusionary Inspiration: Does it really have a 45 second cooldown?
Mental torment: Is it still 50%? Livestream said it would change.
Harmonious mantras: How much is the ferocity boost?

I recently got a portal and this will be the first thing I test if the new traits are in the beta. Going by how CD reduction traits stack at the moment, it should be 100% but this is with the new mechanic that a lot of other weapons are getting. Granted those are “on hit” instead of “on interrupt” but have much smaller CD reductions like 2%. I’m also going to test if this requires interrupts with magic bullet or any interrupt at all. If it’s any interrupt, we basically get a “main hand pistol” with a halting strike “auto attack”.

Illusionary Inspiration: Does it really have a 45 second cooldown?

I’ll check some of the other things on your list too but I’m fairly certain these are from showing the actually signet but won’t have the 45 sec CD. Also, Protected phantasms is from Triumphant Distortion that gives distortion to the mesmer on kill (10 sec ICD) and distortion to phantasms on summon (no ICD). The tooltip is probably only half fixed from the old trait.

I was in the first stress test beta and I think crowd control builds are going to become more important for world bosses and dungeons. If you’ve ever fought Three Toed Tootsi in Dry Top the control bar on monsters is similar, except it starts at full. You have time to hit the target with as many ccs as possible to wear the bar to 0, which creates the weakened state. I think our lockdown builds will see an increase in popularity.

The demo story we got to play was interesting too. I liked it. I was playing a Rev of course, because I wanted to see what they were like. (Condi necro in heavy armor with a lot of access to torment and confusion.) The primary event was pretty boring and unexciting.

The armor was nice on the Rev. The weapon skins were recycled, of course, just different colors. Their icons looked like the mistforged weapons.
