I did find it reported in the bug sticky for mesmers, but has dev ever stated whether the combo field for Veil should be Light or Ethereal? Right now it states Light in the tool tip, but it actually uses Ethereal. It would be nice if it were light, so it could be one more condition removal cooldown to throw on top of the iWarden.

True … but ethereal would be nice for more chaos armor and confusion :-)

I prefer it as an ethereal field

I prefer it as Ethereal for consistency sake of nothing else.

I tend to lean towards thematics. As an invisibility skill Light makes more sense.

I prefer it to be light because we already have so many ethereal fields. Gaining a light field would open up more combos.

We already have a semi-spammable light field in temporal curtain. Veil is a ethereal field and should remain an ethereal field just like every other glamour skill we have. It doesn’t really matter either way, as it is on a massive cooldown, but for consistency it needs to remain an ethereal field.
