i agree, this guild (even though they admit it) only fight enemies they KNOW they can kill, where’s the fun in that, scratch that, where’s the skill in that, the person i was impressed with most in that guild was the warrior, his ability to survive in outnumbered situations was quite impressive

I’ve seen a lot of there videos and even spoke to them, they admit that they pick easy targets in roaming, thats how you’re supposed to do it, thats just not my playstyle though, you sound like you’re getting offended over someone else, control your emotions, its childlike.

We like to fight against equal to about twice our numbers. Unfortunately, we’re lucky to get 2-3 of those kinds of fights in a night. Most of our roaming is ganking lost zerglings.
As for the running away from “challenging” fights, watch the last fight in this video starting at 5:20 for a hint:
In response to the “running from challenging fights”, you have to realize that we are very aware of when we are completely outnumbered and have no chance. This isn’t DAoC where a single team can take out a 40 person zerg. After you are at about double your numbers, it becomes impossible to win against a zerg without kiting due to down state.
If you watch Yishis group videos and the video I posted above, you’ll realize that positioning is everything, and us “running away” sometimes isn’t what it appears to be. Of course, there are many times when a more disciplined zerg decides to chase us and kiting doesn’t work either.

As a player that only solo or duo roams in WvW, that’s exactly what RIOT represents to me. Every time I see that tag I get ready to be chased by 5 people around the whole map.
So I’m not saying they don’t have decent players, but “gank squad” fits better than “small team” imo.

The caveat was to say, yes they’re a gank squad, but snaps for being a highly tuned, top of the game, collaborative masters at your ganking. Snaps for striving for the heights of what it is you do within this game and its mechanics. I admire that, I truly do.
As for “derogatory assertions”, RIOT are what RIOT are. No need for your to be insecure about that. Just accept it and get on with the game. It certainly doesn’t bother me that they’re there doing what they do.
People need to realize that it is becoming harder and harder to find any fair fights for our MAX 10 group of people on a map. To say that “we only pick fights that we can win” sounds like a slight at us. However, 10 MAXv30/40 man zergs is not a fight you can win against the the zerg tacticians in T1. Hopefully these new arena bloodlust thingies will make small group/gank squad (semantics) more manageable.
In the end, people keep telling me we always run from them. Yes our usual 5-6 man crew WILL kite your zerg for a while until some split off to which we thin out and kill. At the moment, that is what we can do. It’s either that or get overrun and the constant body jumping/dancing on our bodies.

tbh your guild is quite impressive when it comes to being aware of your surroundings, sounds like im brown nosing after some negatively received feedback but i don’t think ive seen a guild use the environment as good as yours
