I want to share my Chrono Gunner Video when WvW roaming in BW3 Event. So far it was really good esp coz ANET copied my Bank so i can give my Ascended Gears to my BETA Character. I also put some “Cheese mechanic” so i can compete with another cheese enemies :O

Slow on interrupt was my first instinct when thinking about this gameplay. I’ve only had time to run Time Catches Up in PvP. Can you compare it to Delayed Reactions? My impulse if I start going for interrupt traits is to really stack interrupt traits :p

I think people take Time Catches Up to ensure the synergy with Chronophantasma. But when a Phantasm is chasing the target after shatter. It will shatter itself after some time in case the target is too far then he will Respawn again next to ur target. If only the super spd also apply to ourself :O

Delayed Reaction/ Interupt give slow is a nice trait coz i have tons of interupt. Thou for my taste 3s is too short coz the interrupt will disable them for 1s at least resulting only 2s slow active. But overall the slow really nice to lower enemy overall damage/ peeling/ preventing Revive and somewhat chaining ur interrupt is far far more easy when enemy have Slow. Slow is like…. 1 interrupt will lead to another interrupt.

So how is the match up against another Elite Specs?

Also How is your feeling using Mental Anguish? I mean you give up your Power Block even though you have many access to Interrupt?

awesome vid!!! It seems GREAT for wvw, however in pvp I think a Reaper stands a much better change vs this. love it though

Yeah.. BW2 was 200% Crit dmg coz it was EXO. BW3 became normal 214% Crit dmg with my Ascended Gears.

So how is the match up against another Elite Specs?

Well this build is “Stronger Version” of my Prev GS + Sword Pistol Build for sure. Back in Mesmer both Illu and Chaos line don’t interest me. But i choose Illu to get 20% Clone Reduction. Faster Skill Recharge = Faster Damage = Better Carry

So far i was having problem vs Herald Rev and Scrapper.
Herald Rev has too many Blocks. 2x 3s Block with 3k heal every 20s from Off Hand Shield and Trait. So if u are “Lucky” u can see like 3s Block every 10s resulting harder for u to input ur damage. Combined with Sword OmniSlash Evade Frame making u more harder to put ur damage.

Scrapper… Well i fought Tanky Scrapper. Both of us can’t kill each other so…
Well it’s still new Mechanic. Still need to learn I Guess…

It was tough choice. Mesmer is versatile but still u can’t cover everything. I choose Mental Anguish with Confounding Suggestion for easier kill vs Thief coz Thief is Meta Roamers.

Yeah -90% Chill Dura is really hard for Reapers + Their melee limitation. Harder for them to “Lock” me. Hehehe..
