(Video) Double Glasscannon Mesmer WvW
Nice Video. You always (80%) fight with 2 players vs 1 oppoment. It must be very difficult to win against 1 enemy at an advantageous position . Like that progaming a lot. More of that. 2 Glasscaonnon mesmers vs one victim. Like it so much.

First of all, you’re absolutely wrong. Second of all, my snark-o-meter is going off the charts. Completely unnecessary.
@OP: The speed on your videos makes it a bit difficult to see what’s going on sometimes. I know that Grimms actually slows down his videos because mesmer gameplay is already high speed. The narration is also….a bit unnecessary.
That being said, juking around a jumping puzzle with a greatsword and focus is a lot of fun, and you did it well.
As a fellow Mesmer, I have to say I didn’t care much for it. Ganking guys 2 v 1 doesn’t take much work at all, especially in areas like JP’s where the odds of you getting jumped are almost nil. My buddy and I will take camps even with 2+ foes trying to protect them with my buddy set up as a glass cannon and me as a hybrid. This leaves us able to spike an opponent but having one of us with good survivability gives us room for error.
Figrin the Healer (Guard), Angelic Renae (Mes), Death by Figrin (Thief)
I appreciate all the feedback, first 3 videos ever so I’m trying to get better
I would suggest (depending on what tier you are in) fighting outside the JP. I find that lots of people in the JP are not their to fight and its easy to get into 2v1s which are not as fun to watch. If you are in T1 its harder to roam because of the huge zergs running around but I still like watching roamer videos than JP videos.
Also have you ever tried the staff? It’s great when things are more open. I understand the GS in the JP because its pretty easy to use 5 to knock people off whatever part of the puzzle they are on.

Watching someone spamming “1” for an hour on an AC would have been more entertaining than this :/
I’m not really sure these vids show the effectiveness of your build, except to say it’s effective in the JP. But the JP scenario is different than what I’d consider “WvW”. You’d actually be coming up against other roamers, or havok groups, at which point we’d see what you’re really made of.
Get out of the JP, and show us anything other than what amounts to straight up gankfests, and it’d be a huge improvement.

I’d like to highlight this post. This post demonstrates the proper way to make a good point without sounding like a massive kittenwad.
GS+Focus+JP=Hell yeah… Now… get out of the JP and go do what WvW is really all about Plus try to get duels going with the other servers! :P
Thanks so much for all of the feedback guys So apparently GW2 audience enjoys everything BUT JP WvW. I have been in WvW for so long now that I can’t seem to enjoy it, most of my time is spent either running around alone and getting ganged on, or being a part of a mindless zerg smashing everything with the clicking of the “1” button over and over again like kittenzlenit said. Unfortunately for duels, that’s more sPvP type scenario, which isn’t my thing either. I’ll have to just make JP videos for my personal entertainment and not worry about getting any hits or trying to impress everyone.
Thanks again!
Well the thing is, people in JP aren’t really there to PvP… they are usually in PvE spec or “JP” spec if they have one. Sure you’ll have fun but unfortunately it won’t be impressive as you stated.
You had a 2nd mesmer here so why not take him/her with you to WvW and roam? Plenty of people do it and get great vids out of it. Sure you might get zerged here and there but if you go to the right spots, there’s alot of smalls scale action too. Take a look at Osicat’s or Seven’s, something like that will get you “hits” and “impress” people.

he’s in a T1 server, <5 man roaming doesnt work, zergs everywhere.

I’m on tier 1 so that’s not a valid excuse…

But it’s okay when a thief can take out 8 people solo…

Ehh, maybe a real good thief against real bad people. It’s also a fact that lag (like ones during Stonemist Castle fights) extend each stealth for about 2 seconds. Talk about permastealth.
i would not suggest that these guys roam on a t1 server either. its not about just being a mesmer its about skill lvl and i dont think they are at the point where it would be fun for them. if they ran into these guys on even ground it wouldnt have gone so well. and jump puzzle people dont even pvp usually they are pve idiots who want free loot once a day and spam “is there a mesmer in jp” a couple times before heading back to LA.
killing these guys in no way means they should roam to camps.

Roaming was fun for a while, but became too repetitive for us. We are interested in the JP now, and when that becomes too repetitive …Well, we’ll see. For now though it’s what we enjoy, as you said. Has nothing to do with skill level, class, or anything else.
