[Video] Mesmer Dueling: "Force"
From what I have been seeing in your last few vids, you play pretty well, but for the most part your opponents aren’t very good. I can start to get very picky about what you did wrong and right, but only if you want me to hehe. Thanks for putting out some Mesmer gameplay though, there really isn’t enough of it.
Retired.

I quite enjoyed watching it! Thanks for sharing!
By the way, it appears that it isn’t just me struggling to get the timing for the dodge on a warriors rush? Since they changed it recently it’s like you have to dodge a second late. Weird…
Some things you can do i try to get used to instant cast aoes. It really helps for blink and gs#3. Also, when a necro is in death shroud it is often a good idea to run / kite away to drain it. ^^ just some general stuff.
^ Usually only characer that i play on

Thanks! I would love to hear any constructive feedback you have to give. Just send me a message.

Haha yea I realized this after those two duels.
I felt there were times you could have gotten in a decisive burst shatter with a dodge clone instead of waiting for the certainty of the iLeap clone’s immobilization. However I do rarely play power shatter[Don’t think I have, actually] so there may be something I’m not seeing, such as the opponent’s ability to predict dodge-into-shatter plays.
Thanks for the duels. I was the Gold Recruit you dueled with the blond ponytail. I was testing a new build, which obviously fails for duels because of a glaring weakness. You were really patient letting me fight you several times while I tested it out. Your change to Mantra of Distraction after the first fight completely shut down a very important aspect of the build and made it clear that while it is a strong group roaming build it is not made for dueling.
Hopefully, we will get some more duels in the near future.
…excuses Sladi. Smokee would not be pleased.
Does he know that you are out getting rekt by TC? :o
Your playing looks fairly decent, though as Rylock mentioned…all of your opponents were patently awful. A couple things that I noticed:
You seemed to eat every single stun and every single rush from that skullcracker warrior. Facetanking a bunch of stuff like that is generally not the greatest idea, so you should probably work on watching animations and either dodging or interrupting them.
You should try and protect your heals more often when you’re fighting a class with a lot of interrupts (thief in particular). The thief you fought was awful at this, but a good thief would have interrupted quite a few of your heals with a daze steal or basi venom from stealth. Try and make sure that they’re either animation locked or otherwise occupied before healing.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll be sure to do that in future fights. Also to be fair, that warrior was very skilled at knowing when to use his interrupts and stuns.
