Hi

I hit 80 with my mesmer 2 weeks ago and have been learning2play in WvW roaming since. I’m using Osicat’s great Condition 2.0 build. Any tips or advice would be helpful

I have no tips or advice, as I suck, but I enjoyed the vid. Nicely done.

Don’t shatter, except to get distortion for a stomp. The confusion from untraited cry of frustation is a loss compared to the bleeds you’d get if your clones/phantasms were alive.

It is the meta condition build right now and it is kinda OP 1v1 against most classes. Just know swapping sword/pistol for staff is a good idea for handling multiple foes and surviving against them, with perplexity you can even get intterupts from chaos storm. The sword MH doesns’t help us much except for the evades of blurred frenzy imo, but the pistol is veryvery strong here! Its just that the torch gives us a nice condi spike but also gives us defensive skills. Nice work with gameplay in general and I hope you’re liking mesmer!

As nearlight said, don’t shatter unless it’s distortion for a stomp, never use Cry of Frustration, it’s really bad atm.

One thing I noticed though, you use your Magic Bullet on a whim and sometimes you swap to sc/t with your magic bullet off cd and your opponent uses a heal straight after.

Thanks for all your feedback! I stopped using shatter 1 and 2, and only use 3 if I really need a stun. As for magical bullet, I tried saving it for some bunker eles when they use ether renewal. Otherwise I’m not quick enough to interrupt a heal, I just try and focus it when the enemy is low on health or is trying to run :P

Since you are using perplexity, don’t be afraid to use diversion if you know it will interrupt at least once, as that confusion is very strong. Also try to interrupt as many time as possible, but you improved on that. Thirdly, you did improve on this, but if someone uses an aoe, you can use that as blocking usage for the scepter 2. Finally, I disagree with nearlight about using distortion. If you need to use it for a live saving time, use it. You have multiple stealth abilities that you can use to stomp and all of time last for the stomp animation duration. I do agree with using mind wrack or cry of frustration though.
