You know when you press and hold your blink key, try to move the mouse and the green circle does not move from your character’s feet – when you release the key you just blink in the same spot (using fast cast with ranged indicator).

It’s incredibly annoying and often a death sentence.

This can be due to several things. If you blink onto terrain that isn’t viable since it is on a different level or plateaued. This can also bug if the terrain you want to blink up to is right next to you or vertically above you. Another issue which is quite prevalent is to use the fast with ranged indicator over a target or any other form of UI. This will cause the blink to appear static as you haven’t in a sense “targeted” anything on terrain but you have still activated it (similar effect is gained when you just click the utility with the mouse) . Try not to blink to high but rather laterally within your line of sight, because sometimes it makes a difference. Hope this helps!

Yes I don’t think this is the terrain issue, but rather the UI one you mentioned – as the green circle does not move from the character’s feet once pressing (and holding) blink and moving the mouse.

I’ll try with normal fast cast without ranged indicator and see if it makes any difference.

and: if you see this happen you can cancel the skill by pressing right mousebutton and use the skill again without any cd (your writing dont make it clear that you know it, if you know than sry for telling the obvious. but i am the master of the obvious… obviously! ).

Hmm, I usually use Escape to cancel blink, or use something like ileap when out of range.

Right mouse button doesn’t seem to work for me to cancel blink – I see that is only possible with normal ground targeting, not possible with fast cast + range indicator.

nope i am using fast+range indicator too and its working. but yes esc doing it in the same way
