??? i’m quite confused and do clones get any percentage of our toughness?

Empowered Illusions: Illusions inflict 15% more damage.

So for clones, +15% of nothing is nothing.

However for phantasms, that’d mean +15% more damage on top of whatever it is they already do. Usually for traits that say “Your illusions” they also apply to “your phantasms”. Might be the case here. Might not.

If I recall correctly, yes. They don’t share your vitality though.

Oh, they probably apply to your illusions as well – however, 15 % of 5 damage might result in 6 damage attacks. =P

This trait is a remnant from beta that they never got around to updating. Clones used to do about 1/4th of your attack damage, the trait also used to be 30%. Combined with IP (which did your personal shatter at infinite range on your target) Mesmers were extremely nasty. Oh, and The Prestige was a real invisibility back then too (no channeling). Needless to say, we were quite a bit different than we are now. Oh, and then there was the beta when Phantasmal Haste was bugged to reduce attack CDs by 80% instead of 20%, so Duelist’s spammed non-stop.

My god that sounds awesome. All those OP skills would be so fun to use if all classes had OP stuff.

With Empowered Illusions, my clones can crit for EIGHT DAMAGE! I am Mesmer, hear me roar.

^I love that. And wow. Bugged to reduce by 80% hell yah! Too bad it ain’t so anymore. But just curious if you have phant haste and duelist discipline does it stack the decrease in recharge?

Different effects. Phantasmal Haste makes them attack 20% faster(more often). The weapon traits and 5pt Illusion traits affect the skill CD.
