Anyone else notice this on chaos storm and just wonder what the hell is this?

It would be understandable if it were happening during null field calling what is being removed, however that is not happening here. The people it says it on doesn’t even have confusion on them.

Also these ethreal fields allow you to get chaos armor, and it needs to say that in the skill tooltip.

I must’ve missed the sign that said it was a fire sale.

When a heart appears over a players head, it means they just created a combo using a field you created.

In this case, a player firing a projectile through your Chaos Storm caused Confusion to another player. You see the heart pop above the projectile-firing player’s head, not the victim of the confusion.

Most combo fields work in this way. I see it all the time when I drop fields with my Necro. All my allies have “Poison” pop up over their heads.

It’s a debuff you put on enemies that causes them damage when they use skills. Not so great in PvE, but awesome in PvP when people don’t notice.

The chaos armour you get from ethereal combo fields is the result of a combo finisher and doesn’t need to be spelt out. The tooltips for combo fields would be unwieldly if they had to describe what effect each finisher has (e.g. leap gives you chaos armour, physical projectile inflicts confusion etc.). Experiment and see what things do, or just google it:

Thanks for the replies, I knew what the condition confusion was, but not why it was appearing above my allies heads, the initial thought is oh I just cured confusion, or did i just give my allies confusion?, then you start looking and they didn’t have it on them, or don’t have it on them, then you start wondering what the hell is going on.
