What is the base health of phantasms?
the silence …
a dead bush is hopping over the hot sand of the empty desert …
the silence …
I look into the distance …
and then i quietly tell myself …
… frifox … where are you … Q_Q
now we have laid the bait for your internal mesmeripedia – just wait for “it” to appear

I don’t have all the numbers off the top of my head anymore. However, I can say the following:
Phantasm hp in PvE is roughly 2.5x larger than in PvP. The pDefender has drastically more health than other phantasms, and the shield phantasm when untraited had about 5.8k hp.
An easy way to test is with another Mesmer. Spawn the phantasm and have them autoattack with the gs continually. Each hit does low damage, and continual attacks cause the floaters to add up for easy recording of the total.
There have been changes, pretty sure I was upset once about the defender having only 12k HP anymore or something … gonna ask somone who knows

The HP values haven’t changed in a looooong time. The values are listed here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Illusion#Health
PvE vs PvP/WvW
- Clone: 4,171 vs. 2,433
- Phantasm: 5,821 vs. 3,396
- Defender: 12,476 vs. 7,278
Just checked, the numbers are correct.
Ty fri But I remember when iDef had 20k and I miss these days – same goes for the 8k HP phants in general :< Those numbers seem just so low… Well at least I’m up to date again

Thanks for the feedback. My rough estimation was 2.5K for phants in PvP (except defender). These guys are essentially the equivalent of a single skill use they pop so quickly, even when traited for more health.
With such pitiful health, both signet of illusions and the inspiration trait are an absolute waste.
They keep it like that though for pvp reasons, since they don’t have the manpower ( a generous assumption on my part) to balance split pvp/pve skills.

He comments right after a post showing how the phantasms have different health in PvE and PvP.
I can’t find my WAT?!-gif right now, but it’d be appropriate.

Yup, I forgot to read past the OP and that change….1 year ago. I dun goofed.
Not that the split shown above even makes a difference. It was split over a year ago and it’s such a minuscule difference that phantasms and clones still die to single autoattacks in endgame PvE.
So the comment about the traits and signet still stands.
While we are still on this topic, has anyone looked into whether the signet of illusions immediately updates hp for illusions now, or is there still a delay?
