Today I tested Arcane Thievery. Is there any cap on boon time or stack cap? Tested on mesmer, thats why i post here.

Hmmm, I dont think there is a max boon time however the max stack is 25. I don’t think in a competitive environment like pvp or wvw or even a dungeon there is a need for a cap on time. Just can’t stack it that high in a situation like that.

But I am curious how did you get that long of a fury?

If you think thats high you should check out an idling guardian with his free aegis proc :p

I know that about guardian, saw 1 month 2 weaks …days buff on aegis, but its passive thing, when u want to stack aegis u ll rset it anyway and timer ll be 26sec. Done some research, i cant breach 1h 20 min, tried to achiv more but i cant, wierd.

Tested on skelks in Mount Maelstorm, old sledge wp (golem mark II wp) there are skelks to the right of the camp with randome fury buff stole from them. So if u have thieff or mesmer u can take buff from them and use when doing map complete.

the weird thing about that fury you steal there is, I tried it just now too, stole a 1h20min fury from one, and then after killing it and 2 of its friend, I had a remaining duration of 29min fury on me (I did check it right when I stole it and there it matched fine with the 1h20min fury i had) so either I somehow manage to have fight with 3 skales that lasted about 50min or something really weird is going on there

As for boon duration the only limit is that you can only stack it 9 times, there is no limit on the length of any stack
