The skill descriptions doesn’t say much more than turn your opponent into a Moa bird. What are the advantages of doing so? Are they no longer allowed to use skills during that time? I’ve tried using it on tough bosses, but the duration seems to be much shorter on them, so I kinda don’t get why I would use this over a race elite that could summon a monster to fight by my side for 60sec!?

On players it replaces their skill bar with Moa Bird skills similar to the type you’d find on a ranger’s Moa Bird pet so aside from using those skills, all they can really do is run away and you can continue to damage them in that time and it won’t break the CC. And at 10 seconds it’s by far the longest CC in the game.

It’s OP for the same reasons Spiritmaster’s and Mystic’s Fear were OP in Aion and TERA (and WoW Warlock fear pre-nerf). Any long lasting CC that disables the opponent while allowing you to continue to damage them for the duration is OP because they can’t fight back while you beat on them for such a long time. Very one sided fight.
