I was doing events in Verdant Brink and all of a sudden another Chronomancer showed up, but with an effect that looked like shatter 1 stuck in a loop. That player said that she didn’t see/know any effect that was going on.

I’ve had this happen to me too. No idea what did it

Pretty sure it’s the tides of time skill which causes it, but it cant be seen by the mesmer, just everyone else.

I know this mesmer IRL.
She sent me the pic before I found the post, we had a good laugh.

It’s a bug that happens at times, similar to how a ranger can sometimes have a perma-flappy-ghost-bird above their head after using Swoop on Greatsword.
