Hi All

Basically got gold and laurels and anything else I would need to buy for the gear that you suggest so no worries there

I am currently using Sword/Focus Staff and would like to keep it that way, and love to shatter as much as possible.

So with this above what is best possible way to cause Damage, would it be causing direct damage or conditions via the shattering and sword attacks? and what gear is best to use.

I have had a quick browse but to be honest the search feature aint all that great on the forum and don’t want to look at older build that are no longer viable.

Any help would be great and appreciated. I consider myself a good player but not very clued up on the mechanics of the game as I don’t have the time to sit down and study DPS etc.

You didn’t mention PvE, WvW or PvP.

If WvW, Osicat’s Shatter Heavy 3.0 build would be perfect. It’s my go-to build right now for wvw.

Well, if you want to do damage, you’re in luck! We are one of the best classes to use berzerker gear as we have many tools to avoid dmg. I’ll let someone else suggest a build though as I’m not used to building around the staff.

PvE mainly please. I do like to WvW from time to time but 90% of my time playing is gonna be PvE so lets just say that and make it easier.
