Hello!

I’ve been a bit discouraged with mesmer as of late and thus have been playing on my necromancer for the past 2 months.

I’m interested in giving mesmer another shot. Currently running in a ~30 man team in t1 so I’m looking for a build for zerg fights.

As of when i last played, I had switched to the [Mighty mesmer] Build, (stack might on interrupt, confusion from glamour fields.)

I’ve always been much more satisfied with power builds as opposed to condition, but I’m open to any suggestions as to a strong zerg v zerg wvw build.

I like to play “Advanced Scout”, or Sapper with my Mesmer. I wont give away my build but here’s some bare bone traits and runes to work with.

I focus on reflections, as I discovered you can only upgrade their damage through critical hits, that’s why I run rage runes, knight weapons and armor and a mix of knight and cavalier in trinkets. Also glamours are upgraded as much as they can.

The problem with mesmers is due to all that nerfs we got in the past, now we’re reduced only to utilities in zergs, cause other professions can do a lot of things much better (DPS, conditions, aoe healing, buffs…) than us.

As stated above. We don’t do any one thing really well for a Zerg. So a meta build for us Mesmers? Nada. All I do is run whatever build I like and either share boons or do the 20 point dive into Inspiration for wardens feedback(Zerg protection), Phantasmal healing and Vengeful images. Add some utility for the group, TW, Null and Veil.
Just stay alive to drop your utilities. That’s all a Mesmer can do now days. Even advanced scouting is better done by a solder geared stealth thief. Enjoy the subpar Zerg experience at least you can kill most classes 1v1 right?
