Just got hit by a thief for 7.9k on heart seeker. Had been hit for multiple 4-5k’s before but boy did I go down quickly.
How hard are you hitting? I have lots of power/precision/cond and my +crit dmg isnt that bad. But I find im lucky to hit someone for 2kmax on one of my abilities. Whats your high hits and how do you do it? Im getting a tad zzzzzz with having to wear ppl down when they just tear me a new one.
Ive got a thief alt and frankly im ][ close to making it a main.

50% crit chance, 100% crit damage, 3.3-4k attack.

pre patch, berserker would spin for 3-7k, and if you shattered right away and crit, you do another 3-6k instantly.

damage ranges are against tough targets, on the low end, and glass cannon/upscaled targets on the high end.

I started off with a thief, then went to a mesmer main. Now I’m shelving the mesmer. ANET have left us with no other choice apart from politely asking our foe to die.

with full mantras and illusions, blurred frenzy can max out at 8k right now

I critting for 20k, tbh main reason I got a defensive ring in my gear is that I latley burst ppl down so hard that I getting immune as they die and I cant reach my top dmg.

4 x mw on a non toughtness target ~10-12k, sword 2 = 4-6k cry of frustration x 3 = 5-700 × 3, phantasm duelist 3-4k + bleeds and in most situations a lightningstrike for 4-8k (now with nerf thats 3-6k but still viable), flame blast from sigil ~1k.
