Sorry but I am semi casual so do not play a ton. I was using the one ability to cure conditions on heal (15 sec refresh).. Worked ok.

But after today, what is the best way to at least have some condition clearing? Would it be running the mantra? I just liked the old way where I could couple a heal with the clear, but I admit being a little overwhelmed with the changes.

I play some PvP also so I know having some condition clearing will be important.

It’s a minor trait in Inspiration. If you pick that specialization, you’ll automatically have it (actually, it’s better than before because it cleanses AoE)

Yeah the mantra cleanse is pretty good, probably our best condi cleanse without traits.

Nullfield is nice if you can stand in it for the duration, and if you can get your enemy in it it also boon strips.

Arcane Thievery works similarly, you can use it to cure 3 of your condi’s and strip 3 of their boons, but the CD is kinda high even with the CD reduction, so while it can be very powerful you won’t have the sustained condi clear that is needed now. All of these coupled with the Inspiration minor cleanse on heal can help counter some of these ridiculous condi builds running around now in WvW and spvp.

If you like the Torch offhand theres a nice trait in Illusions adept that cleanses whenever you use a torch skill, and reduces the cd of those skills when you are stealthed, I’ve been running that on my mes in spvp and it actually helps more than I originally thought it would.

Our access to condition clears are TEN TIMES better than before. We always had such access, but it was hard to actually take those options without taking a huge loss in another place. You’re probably talking about Mender’s Purity which is now a minor trait when you take the Inspiration tree. Other ways our condition clearing has been boosted:

• Being able to take Restorative Illusions if you go into Inspiration, means you have a lot of ways already to take condition clears without taking a utility spot.
• Mantras now start ticking their CDs as soon as you charge them, making them all a lot easier to use now. i.e. Mantra of Resolve.
• Nullfield is on a 32s CD now, making it easier to take.
• Easier to trait for signets to clear conditions.
• Easier to trait for Manipulation CDs, making Arcane Thievery more palatable.
