Guild Wars 2

This is probably a noob question but I’m finally in the market for an Ascended weapon. I’ve got about all the materials and money needed, just not sure which weapon to craft. I mainly do PVE/Fractals and Dungeons.

Would it be best to go for the 1H sword first? I typically run S/S S/F.

I figured sword would be the best way to go. I’ve seen a couple Mesmers get the staff first. I love Staff, just lackluster in PVE.

Sword. Then 2nd sword. Focus. Pistol. Greatsword.

If you are going for looks, the melandru staff looks really nice for like ~30g on the AH.
