I am just curious what legendary other mesmers have gone for. I go back and forth all the time lol. I want to make one because it is something to do.. but I switch my weapons and play style all the time so I can’t decide :P

None, maybe later when they add more, but for now most of them look stupid.
like the pistol one, Quip I think its called. SOOO stupid looking.
The sword, Bolt isnt too bad i guess.

But in the end i dont have the funds or the patience to grind for one. Even if I felt there was one worth going for.

Made Rogort (torch) first because I really like the stealth on the torch ( oh and managed to get the precursor for 16g).
Now about to make bolt ( not so lucky on the price cost me 328g) , and then I can get to work on Bifrost.

And one last note why does the Mystic forge hate me so much.

I was thinking rogort.. It does look pretty cool.

Really it will come down to your weapon preference, my eventual aim is to produce a legendary for every weapon I can use.

Well I really like the stealth with torch but I feel bad using it in dungeons lol.. but if I make it I am using it :P

I’m going for the Meteorlogicus cause it looks really pretty and I like things relating to weather/planets.

I swap weapons SO much that it just didn’t seem worth it to go for a legendary quite yet. Maybe if our build options change, but for now… getting one and only using it part of the time would be sad.

Instead, I focused my resources on crafting three of the ethereal purple weapons: Visions of the Mist, Whisperblade, and The Anomaly. Have all 3 now and LOVE THEM!!! I wish we had an ethereal staff. :-/

Up next: another whisperblade maybe! Or abyssal scepter…

I just made Quip last night.

I’m never Staff-less. Thus (when I go for a Legendary), it’s all about Bifrost.

Going for focus first, as that is the one weapon I always have no matter my build. After that I will be aiming for 2 Infinite Light’s.

i went for Bifrost and currently have it i love staff on mesmer

… idk what other legendary i would go for :> i have anomaly i just made tho next is mirage.. cause i can >.>; immobolus is pretty but both aren’t legendaries

Yesterday, I saw a mesmer with the anomaly.
THAT looks awesome.

crafted sunrise, best weapon in the game for my tastes.
now im working on gifts in common for every legendary. i may craft twilight, bolt or bifrost, everyone has their advantages and i dont find someone better than the others.

If you are looking for cool looks: Abyssal Scepter and The Anomaly… there should be a purple misty-looking staff just like Vision of the Mists (GS).

personally going off topic i prefer Infinite Light, Anomaly, Spirit Links, Foe Fire and Final Rest to any legendaries….

regardless i would like to Duel Wield Bolt and have the focus too.

Currently in the process of building Bolt. I have Zap and a few of the gifts done.

None. The only i’d make if it wasn’t of this boring and unplayable 100% world completion is the pistol (for mez which fits perfectly)

I was going for Sunrise but when I switched builds, I had little to no need for a greatsword. Since then I’ve bought an Asuran Peacemaker Staff, made the Anomaly and just crafted the Ignis Fatuus last night. I could see that the hand positioning was wrong by the preview but I’m highly disappointed that it doesn’t glow. These weapons will do for now until (hopefully) a mesmer-ish 1hand lightsaber is implemented and I finally find a trident that makes me wet myself. Or they finally allow recoloring weapons, at which point I will disturbingly giggle while buying every class-appropriate weapon from the Durmund Priory.

To answer your question, no I’m not going for any legendaries. This is mostly because I want to backhand the kitten out of the kitten that keeps thinking RNG is a great game feature.

I agree those all look neat.. I just want to get 1 weapon that gives me an aura and an achievement :P But it is expensive so it is hard to chose which one lol

There are the pistols, Lyss and Llya. I personally can’t decide which I like more so, when we get mainhand pistols, I may go for both.

Are you looking for only the Mesmer Mist weapons? If not and you just want a cool purple Trident – Peacemaker’s Trident. The Staff is also really cool, and the only one I see myself using at the moment.

I was a Guardian main, so I made The Flameseeker Prophecies. Then I started leveling a Mesmer alt, but I like it so much I play it way more than the Guardian.

So now I have a Legendary I almost never use. Go figure.
