I seen sites like metabattle and it kinda confusing me.. Then upcoming patch which might chnage things so dunno if I wanna wait. I’m still trying to unlock chrono on my mesmer (making prty good progress I think). Not to worry abt gear and stuff cos I have ascended armor set (assassins I think). But metabattle offers two diff options, for I guess like each build, and there lots more than one build for raid so I dunno.

I guess I wanna be most useful. Ppl I guess need one chrono in group only and usually it’s to tank and stuff (again, dunno how will this change soon). So s/s and shield offhand, maybe focus on case I guess. If I’m gonna tank Ill need practice but not for easy bosses like vg and stuff. Do I wanna tank? Unsure atm, I just wanna be more useful to group. If I’m asked to change my build I get all panicky.. so would rather not. They suggest option like assassins mix or commander armor set. I don’t wanna change stats on armor cos it’s expensive usually, but can if needed. I have some soldier trinkets and stuff from fractal drops, stored in bank. Otherwise I have mostly bersetker stuff on my mes. Going to build toughness if I wanna tank but I don’t wanna sacrifice too much. What build should I be looking at, or would it make sense to wait a while?

It’s worth noting that you’re a bit off-point about what bosses are difficult to tank for. VG is actually one of the hardest bosses to tank due to the fact that you need to move it properly otherwise you’ll wipe/make things much harder for your group. Boss difficulty is very different for the tank with some bosses, primarily VG and Xera.

Hold off on making a build right now, half of these forums are panicking because we have no idea how bad anet is going to screw up as usual with these balance changes.
