Guild Wars 2

We have SO many build varieties it is insane. I love the purple power. I rolled a guardian a few weeks ago, and did ok with him…but it was so boring! I currently main phantasm and bleed/shatter hybrid

It seems that by some quirk the majority of build posters here are WvW players, the significantly larger and more customisable pool of stat points available in WvW and the free form nature of it compared to tpvp (point capture/defence) or PvE (max dps) means a large number of builds have been made, tested and posted. If the majority of posters on the forum were tpvp players we’d appear to have a much smaller range of viable builds (to the extent of none in top level tpvp at the moment its seems) and if it was mainly PvEers most of the focus would be on doing damage calculations on very specific aspects of a few builds (warrior forum posts endlessly debating about axe/mace or GS e.t.c.).
