I would like to know whats meta for mesmer in gvg setups?
or i mean why would u take mesmers in your GvG Setups( competitive team oriented large scaled [~20players] groups in fair matches as a deathmatch mode) rather than other classes..

anything that mesmer can be better in overall effective with role spec for team orientation.. rather than other classes?

Not huuugely, Mesmers generally play a utility bot role in group scenarios.
Especially in lager fights since their offensive power via clones or phantasms is hampered by the fact they just wont live enough to be shattered, attack or lay down conditions.

That being said, things like traited wardens can unleash hell if placed well in a backline with the right timing.

Out of all professions, we by far have the best:

• boon stripping
• boon manipulation/support

We also have:

• Lots of reflects. The dome shape makes it easy to place feedback where it hurts.
• Condition removal with null field and shattered conditions. They’re buffing shattered conditions to a 600 range in the next balance update, which is huge (like twice the radius of Chaos Storm)
• Low aoe damage, but enough to tag. I guess the berserker is ok :/
• And ofcourse timwarp and all those things.

For organized zerging I run this build, and it’s amazing! Sadly, I don’t get much organized groups, so I just end up trying to tag people with arrow carts :/. Pew pew!

• boon stripping, we are not more than necromancers wells
• boon support (i can mean just signet of inspiration) u ll not be better than guardians in overalleffectiveness..
• Reflects, it required projectiles, that its not meta, useless in gvg`s and using feed back is just lack of slot.. 1 guardian can better spec on reflection..
• condition removal, eles, guardians, wars are enough with that if u spec on cond removal u ll be more uneffective.. glamours are not much bigger than wells.. and put on them overall effectiveness.. shattered conditions lack of range, lack of % of clones succesfully shattered + lack of traits + (restriction to go gm trait), of if patched to range.. there should have math with % of successfull shatters which is very low..
• Enough tag? u are in gvg why u look for loot bags :P tagging / anti tagging(as aeo spells regens cleanses heals) Berserker.. U are in gvg.. if u dead u dont have respawn.. and * % of chaos(random) damage(cuz of messiness, u ll get random attacks) and dead man efficient is not 0 [u ll be more uneffective that how many people u rallied from enemy) as u can be if u were in zerging.. but in gvg 0 minus (ppl u rallied x how big disadvatage u give[lower effecient] to your group)
• ok already mention for veil or if u can tactic with portal, and tw(tw imo is not much OP than other elites) example banner.. as above math of dead mans efficient..
  for these u get 1 mesmer and it names with Veil Bot,
  ok ofc veil bots try to be best effective so ofc most of them take nullfieldss but wells are not less than nullfuilds..

sorry i didint understand organized zerging?
it means that all players on ts, and have commender and have royal to server or commander? it means sounds zerging to me.. pugs groups..
ofc there are vice versa pugs as well i called, slackers :P
or u meaned that group who are in communication and familiarity with each other’s style and synchronization each other? i call it Guild Raids if u affiliated with guild..
but again GvG is orginized as Guild Raids but vs Not blobs or zergs or other guild raids,
its versus equal numbers with same rules with same goal to win(deathmatch killing all other group)

for build i havent checked yet when i back i can say if it can fit or not.. if i would not lazy

yeap.. few weeks ago, and 2 4 months ago, some times refreshing this topic as answers havent changed yet..

and i see that we a dev in our forums, maybe it can taken some interest in this..

Maybe if they consider making guardian a viable roaming class, then yes I would agree on that.
Enough answers have already been said in this topic and many previous topics. No need to repeat the question. If you want their attention, then change the title to: ‘’MESMER USELESS IN GVG ANET WATCH THIS’’
Asking what mesmer contributes to gvg’s wont draw their attention.

But even if, anet doesnt give a kitten about GvG in wvw, it’s not like they balance their game around that.
