Playstyle is halfway between a phantasm and shatter build. Leaving the phantasms up lets you chew through tanky players quickly, but you can stun them with the pistol and burst them down in a second or two if you get the opportunity. There’s really no disadvantage to shattering the phantasms – your GS/sword DPS is already extremely high and the heals from the shatters give a huge amount of sustain. If someone manages to make it to melee range when you don’t want them to (hello thieves), the F3 shatter shuts them down for quite awhile (1s daze + blind).

Although they’re a bit redundant, Mantra of Resolve (MoR) and the Inspiraton trait line lets you literally ignore condi players (even though they got buffed lol). Having MoR gives you an extra 2.5k heal + immunity to condi-spikes/snares, while the condition remove on shatters is a free bonus from the heal on shatter trait that makes it really difficult for anyone to keep conditions on you. Plus with the buff to blink, you literally can blink out of combat whenever you’re feeling the heat.

I have been running the same build but switch mental anguish with burden trait really helps with the gs. Overall a very strong build. Also using the torch creates more escapes and openers.

Also using new signet for speed boost and with runes of the pack you can share a lot of boons.

Oh man, Imagined Burden was a great addition. It’s like 10-15 stacks of might which gets transferred to nearby people whenever you use a phantasm. The perma-cripple on GS also let’s you CC entire groups constantly, and fights with thieves are now really easy (they have trouble staying on you while crippled the entire time… super easy to hit with GS #3).

Also tried the new time warp… amazing. Pretty much reduces your opponents to moving in slow motion. Pumped for the chronomancer now!
