shatter build has recently peaked my interest and I would like to create a roaming build for wvw.

This is the build that I am going for. Not sure if I want to use Staff/Greatsword, or which one would be better rather. Also, I am torn between using sword offhand/pistol offhand or maybe even torch.

Any other suggestions about what I could change would be appreciated as well, I do have a concern about this build being a little squishy though, but i feel like my DPS would suffer quite a bit.

Torch makes sense if you take the trait (and lose halting strike: you won’t interrupt much anyway). Pistol is good for immobilizing (stunning) and the phantasm puts decent pressure (attack + bleeds). I would go for gs instead of staff.

50% hp = reset shatters is a far stronger trait both defensive and offensive than 10% inc crit chance for a single skill (mindwrack). Halting strike can both be good or bad, but there is several stronger alternavive. Boonstripping for once, GS 20 cd if you use GS.
