Guild Wars 2

Hello all,
I just recently rolled a Mes and I’m in that “confused, but loving it” stage. I’m usually leveling through hearts and WvW and I’m trying to create a build around that.

I WvW with a GS/S+F build for ranged and pulling people off walls, but I’m confused as to what to trait with. Everywhere I read is that buffing illusions in WvW is useless because they die so fast. However, most trait build I’ve seen have been buffing phantasms.

I’m not looking for the FOTM build, just one that will provide a little synergy in WvW with my weapons. Can any of you more experienced Mesmers help a newbie?

Back to your question, the best thing a solo mesmer can do in WvW is making sure enemies don’t get to the back of their zerg and regenerate lost health. We have the dps to do it, and the mobility to get away with it.
