I love WvW but I just can’t find myself a good build for mesmer in a zerg. (20-30 man zergs)

I wanan be more useful for the zerg other than just portal & veil. So I at least get some decent damage in too.

Shatter & phantasm builds are pretty much useless because all illusions get destroyed in a second so I barely get any tags or damage.

Glamour build seems awesome to get tags & I’m still able to portal or veil but since the nerf ages ago the damage is really bad.

Anyone knows a good zerging build for mesmer so i can be more useful damage wise?

Probably Kylia’s Triforce build would be best for supporting a zerg/tagging for bags. Don’t try to use if 1v1 or in a small group.

Do not fret your role as a veil/portal/time warp bot. Those are important roles. The ability to hide the Zerg, move the Zerg and speed up the Zerg should be more than enough to justify your existence.

Run PVT gear with Travelers runes. Do your support and help out where you can. A lot of the popular builds in WvW do far less damage than their dungeon counterparts. Damage in zergs is done by multiplication of effort, not by single source. And get rid of the Staff, it is just to slow to use, it is terrible at tagging compared to the Guardian staff, which excels at that. Try the GS, it has a nice damage coefficient at max range. The 3 skill removes boons on clumped players and the 4 can be used to slow down a fleeing foe. The 5 is awesome to use against an enemy trying to get a stomp.
