tital states it all though to be more specific i would like

blink : make the utility skill be a leap finisher. really this skill is useless aside from mobility and stun break. if it was a leap finisher it would give this skill a nice use that can give a combat advantage aside from the stun break.

aside from that this skill i have to say is overall close to useless. yes it does give a nice small spike of damage. though other than thakittens not much to look at. the single boon ripped is flat out sad. yes it can have some nice plays here and there but because your opponent is almost always going to have more than a signal boon at a time depending on build and class then the chances o getting a boon important enough to make a visible difference is small……along with that removing a single boon will always have you in a catch up game were you dont use a skill that gives you a advantage. instead you are taking down there advantage and is essence “catch up” rather than “get ahead”.
what i would like is a little revamp… maybe have the skill steal the boon?. perhaps transfer a condition to the target(s), maybe somethin combining some of those effects? i dont know. but something other that a “catch up” skill would be nice

Blink doesn’t need a finisher. The would most likely be some tradeoff like a higher cd and you/we certainly don’t want that.

GS #3 should really be a blast finisher, though. Also it would be nice to have torch #4 trigger the blast on cast and not when getting revealed again.

Blast Finisher been suggested on Mind Stab like 11 months ago and pretty much every month after. What did we get? so yeaaah,

I’m not sure why you feel Blink is so weak. It is one of the best skills we have. I can’t even account for all the times it has kept me from dying. You can use it to teleport to some ledges that melee fighters will have a hard time getting to. It even breaks fear and gets out of crystal cages made by the Shatterer and Subject Alpha. I find it so versatile that I have a hard time playing any profession without something similar.

I do agree that Mind Stab should be a blast finisher. I’m okay with the damage now but it also needs a bigger radius or auto-targetting because it’s extremely hard to aim in zergs. As for the torch, it needs every bit of love it can get.

If you think we have no combo finishers, try playing necromancer. One of the reasons I left that class was besides being boringly stupid OP in pvp, there was no cleave in pve, and the only combo finishers were on staff, a weapon with almost worthless use in power builds. They only have blast finisher on staff 4, bone minion/fleshwurm active sacrifice abilites, and a 20% staff auto porjectile finisher, which is so awful!

Mesmers are fine in regards to finishers, actually having 2 easy to use leaps is amazingly great, sure a better blast finish would be nice, but we have enough projectile and even whirls to be “balanced” in that regards.

If you want finishers play S/D ele,you can have up to 6 blasts in one set, even more with lightning hammer auttoattacks.
