My on going battle of who I love more between mesmer and thief is I think finally over. There are simply too many thieves in the game so its pushed me to my mes.

I have a zerker set and a carrion/rampager set, but im hearing Assasssins does more than zerker for mes? is this accurate? I use s/p or s/s/ with staff

I would go for Zerker. I made the calculations with Sword and Greatsword and there, berserker is stronger. But it depends on your runes and sigils. In the end it doesn’t matter. Zerk/Assa are about the same, its not a noticable difference.

And use Sword/Focus + anything. Staff is ok and very underrated in my option me gusta

go for 10/15/0/25/0 and fill in the other 20 points where ever you want to. Take phantasm damage, crit for phantasms and reflection with focus + another glamour buff. its almost must have

greez madame

I can’t imagine how. At almost all levels increasing power is better than increasing precision. Phantasms inherit both power and precision and can be traited to have fury.

It does increase the likelihood of procing “on hit” events, like clone bleeds.

Anything I post is just the opinion of a very vocal minority of 1.

Roughly the difference between kitten and zerk is this (random numbers):

Assa: 2000 Power, 75% crit chance, 100% crit damage = 4250 ø

  • 5000
  • 5000
  • 5000
  • 2000

Zerk: 2430 Power, 50% crit chance, 100% crit damage = 4250 ø

  • 6070
  • 2430
  • 6070
  • 2430

Just theory, but its like this in the end – it doesnt matter that much. Get the ascended stuff you like more (colour). Unless you build on many crits.

ahhh im completely bugging… apparently, im not full zerker. I have a lot of soldier pieces on and have 21k hp. I was wondering why I Wasnt hitting that hard…. should I go full zerk?

For PvE content there’s really no reason not to go full zerker. If you feel squishy keep a couple of soldiers pieces to throw on (legs and mask first).

When I run in PvE it’s full zerker. When I run in WvW I add my soldiers mask and legs and swap to a knights weapon.

Yeah, given that there isn’t a huge difference, I went with Zerker for my PvE set. Much wider availability to get exotics (temples, dungeons, karma, etc) where you have to craft Assassin’s gear.
