Guild Wars 2

So, I am looking to level my mesmer through spvp and am a total mesmer noob, have really only played engineer up to 80, and while I’m really good at it I lack any experience with other classes. With that said I’m looking to level up a mesmer now, and am just curious to what is a fun good mesmer build to run while in spvp?

practice defense first, go phantasm, if you have no idea about pvp, you might want to start with 1v1, phantasm build are generally easier build in dueling.

this is if you take the class srsly and really trying to learn the class.
after you learned how to do the basic combo of sword and pistol, and have an general idea about staff defense mechanics. you might want to move to play shatter for a bit.
IF you just want to play for fun you might want just play PU based build.
condition build are also great way to start, but i generally suggest start with power build.
