Guild Wars 2

I tried using this when I was stucked in his massive aoe and when I was inside his orb but I died instantly. How do you guys evade some of his aoe when you don’t have enough or distortion ready? it used to work really well but with the nerf it is a lot harder.

This may sound arrogant but I have never actually been caught in his AoE abilities. They are super simply to just avoid.

pve = avoid red circles. Don’t try to cheat via fancy tricks.

pfft this game is becoming so one dimensional it makes me sad I left Eve online. Even Spreadsheet wars are better than a virtual Hopscotch.

Get a staff and phase retreat out of the circles… take blink as well just in case.

I’m not sure what was killing you but blurred frenzy does work vs his bubble. You might have been getting hit by a tick immediately after your skill ended. If you time your skill correctly you can evade 2 ticks from the bubble in 1 blurred. If you’re going to melee Lupi (I recommend it), be sure to take staff in your swap. Phase back after the bubble lands and you can pop right out of it. If you use it before it lands and don’t get out of range, the bubble will land right on top of you and you’ll be toast. That or make sure you have the clone swap skill out and be far enough away from Lupi that the clone doesn’t get killed. It’s really easier to just make sure no one moves while in melee range of Lupi (unless they get unloaded/drained) so he doesn’t bubble anyone.
