Ok so I took a break from my mesmer for just over a month and I went on tonight for a bit of a play and to my horror I find iduelist has been nerf. It not longer applies reliable stacks of confusion when firing from an ethereal field. I had quick look over the patch notes and there is no mention of this being changed. Jeez! this is so annoying when did this happen?

It hasn’t been nerfed, iDuelist is a 20% chance projectile finisher, and it fires 8 shots. On those odds you might get 2 stacks, 3 if you’re lucky and any more is just a bonus. However if you take the 20pt pistol trait in Dueling it turns that into a 100% projectile finisher giving you a guarnteed 8 stacks.

Yes ty I just switched my pistol and it works as normal but when i put my other pistol on it doesn’t work. I have a bugged pistol that causes iduelist projectile finisher to not proc so wierd. Thanks again for the reply was having a bit of a freak out thinking mesmers got nerfed again

I’d love to actually see a video showing this bug. I’ve never heard of anything ever happening like this, but if you can really demonstrate it, I’ll add it to the list.
