hi guys,
I need a spec to tool around Tyria, map completing, and something to get me used to playing a condition spec mesmer. any ideas? when you guys use metabattle to choose specs, which section do you use for pve, fractals or raid?

You will want a hybrid power/condi gearset, because low level scaling for condi is terrible.

Any build that involves a staff will help you learn how a condi mesmer is played. It is also good to practice forward phase retreats while doing map completion.

My personal suggestion is to run Dueling (Deceptive Evasion)/Illusions/Chronomancer (chronophantasma + illusionary evasion) for a max clone spam build. For the other weapon, I suggest greatsword for burst because most core Tyria don’t have much hp if you’re lvl 80.
