confusion scepter clones
Personally i dont see it happening, we have the 25point trait for Confusion on death – i have it and it works quite well. I dont see the clones getting it, i would like a Poison though as all we have for that is on RNG.
I would like:
Auto .1 = Damage + Vul
Auto. 2 = Damage + Poison
Auto.3 = Damage + Confusion + Clone
Of course they would have to have reasonable durations but ones that wouldn’t mean that Auto attacking only would be enough. I think Poison would need the lowest duration. Even if the Scepter Necro can constantly keep stacking them i dont think we should be able to.
It would make scepter stronger although I’m not sure if it’s gonna be OP. Personally I don’t think it will. Even without scepter auto confusion we already have Duelist 25 that does similar effect. Putting confusion on clone attack would just increase the variation people could go with confusion build — that is, they could save trait point from venturing into 25 duelist for something else.

Personally i think Having both would be fine. Its like 1 stack on clone death and it doesnt really last long. You could have the confusion on Auto attack and have it so the chain takes 2 seconds to complete but the Confusion lasts 1second so it wouldnt be chainable through auto alone
Sure you could go with Condition duration increases but even at 100% you arent going to really get it to stack that high with Auto and on clone death trait. It would be Nice if It was added and iMage was buffed, so we could run a REAL Confusion build
Actually, i think it should be chainable and put on 1.1. Confusion is a secondary class mechanic to the mesmer and the scepter is supposed to be a condi weapon. If the whole auto-attack cycle takes 2s to complete, put a 2s confusion on 1.1.
Scepter clones attack quite slow and this would finally make them useful. Vuln doesn’t do anything for condibuilds.

Oh you mean for the clones to cause Confusion? I was thinking about the Mesmer.
