Sometimes when I summon a Phantasm or Illusion, my Mesmer will make the movement before summoning and the Phantasm or Illusion does not appear. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong ?

Does the phantasm or illusion go on a full cooldown or a 3-second cooldown? If the former, I don’t know. If the latter, this happens when dodge rolling just before it goes off, which stops the cast and you need to wait 3 seconds before you can cast the summoning skill again.

If it’s a full CD either you’re summoning out of range or the target you were selected on died/deselected before you were finished, and it doesn’t count it as interrupted.

Nope has happened to me before on targets with more than 70% HP.

Cast, Makes animation, Goes on CD, No Phants..

This usually happens when i change weapon set and quickly cast my phant..

This happens to me from time to time also without any obvious reason why.

You guys are cancelling your skills or out of range …you’re rewarded with a 3 secs delay before you can try to cast it again

I am not a noob… I know the difference between 20 sec CD and 3sec CD and i also manage my illusions well, when this happened to me(numerous times already) it didnt even for a split second show up another illusion on my Illusion counter…

It may have to do with bad latency problems as well

I believe it can happen if the target dodges, goes invulnerable or obstructed.

Happens every other activation with sword 3 even well within range. The other skills usually pop correctly though, have to watch that range.
