dungeon build
You should consider checking out the three other threads on page 1 of the Mesmer forum which all contain discussion about the best dungeon builds. This is actually fairly close (30 in inspiration and the staff are bad, but most other things seem ok). The best support you can provide your team is more dps, so an offhand sword is going to be a better choice than the staff.

but isnt 30 pts in inspiration actually good? considering the traits in build it helps a lot w utilitys, especially null field , u can kinda keep team without conditions permanently
about dmg over support, i kinda would like to have someone do the support with boon ripping and condi remove and reflect etc in team who does that alone so the rest of team can go full dmg, i guess its bettter that way, but yep i think i should change the staff probably

Mesmers do everything so well, it’s not really a matter of damage “or” support. You can max out both extremely well since sword stacks vuln and removes boons and the phantasms provide reflects as well as some regen, although that’s so easy to come by that no one really cares about it. Then you can just take mantras which will boost your health and the trigger effects are all AOE.
