hi folk
i have a level 80 mesmer and a level 80 ele..each toon have all exotic gear (ele has cleric/soldier/zerker/knight, mesmer has soldier/knight/zerker)
but now i wanna take some ascendent gear, and i don’t really know if take the gear for the ele or for the mesmer and which kind of gear..
i play as a support staff ele, and as a shatter mesmer, and i enjoy both in the same way..
in addiction i’m scared for every patch they made…any suggestions?

I’d say the ascended stuff will have more of an impact on mesmer since it’s built for damage which you will notice even if it’s slightly.

The Asurnator – Elementalist
Easy answer is just use it on the ones you play more. Either could get nerfed in a patch so it is Russian roulette at best. If it really gets to be an issue run FOTM and just gear them both.

You don t need ascended for that.
And from a day 1 ele …..expect huge nerf to ele every patch…they hate the profession more than mesmer.
They keep nerfing staff ele from release despite being non viable in most situations.
GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
