this is sad to me. i picked mesmer thinking i would be a support/condition class only to find out that basically everyone does the exact same thing. i thought surely there would be more to spvp than just luldps but i was wrong.

so now im retiring my staff/scepter, torch confusion build because im tired of being a mere annoyance that can be ran away from at any time, and also dropping my lul stealth/blink utility skills which only work half the time, and picking up the ever so common gs/sword/pistol yawn dps spec so i can stop being laughed at.

its a shame theres so many options yet only one viable spec

Staff + Sword/Pistol works well too..

I just started spvp’ing two days ago. Been doing wvw since launch. I took my sceptre/torch confusion build into spvp despite concerns about hearing how weak the non-buffed confusion damage was. Man, did I cut people down left right and center
