iBerzerker is hitting for nearly nothing.
Same problem right here. My iZerk is dealing lower than half the damage of my Spatial Surge.
Sigh, I hope Anet has a hotfix for this.
I didn’t want to say anything about the auto attack doing more damage than berserker in case they nerfed that too.
Yeah, maybe it will give them the idea to reduce the auto attack by 50 % instead of fixing the beserker’s damage.
It appears that they didn’t nerf the damage itself (as the numerical number on my mesmer is the same it’s always been for iZerk), but the number of hits that the Zerker inflicts has DEFINITELY been lowered.
Unsure if this is unintended or a stealth nerf.
Very disappointed.
I understand the LOS change for pvp balance purposes, even though it was VERY handy for stair pulls like Kohler and certain EXP paths.
This, however, needs to be fixed.
Mesmer damage in PVE is pathetic enough without 25% of its damage going byebye.
The last patch didn’t rectify this either so will have to assume its intentional.
I used to see 3000 damage with iberserker, now I am around 1400, with an occasional hit in the 4000 range. Something changed for sure.
Not to mention that without berserker I can hit nothing on walls, with the GS auto attack never having “line of sight”.
The LOS on walls has been around for some time and obviously not high up on the agenda to fix. Now that we can’t throw our berserker around, we’re left waiting on others to take the walls down before we can do anything.
LOS bugs definitely need to be handled with this change for mesmer to be effective.
Still, the bigger issue here is Iberzerker (and by that virtue, greatsword) being eviscerated because it’s apparently spawning with 2 stacks of blind.
