iWarden spawn location?
It spawns where your enemy is. If your enemy movies just after summoning, then it stays there doing it movies.
Best time to use is get close to the mob before summoning or summon on caster mobs for max damage.
I think the question is “what side of the enemy will it spawn on.” This seems somewhat random to me… it’s not always the closest point between me and my enemy (can sometimes appear to spawn on almost the opposite side, for example). Would be nice if it was always closest point to you, so you could more quickly hide in the reflection.

That is why I use it mainly in very close combat.
My only wish is if we ever get a trait that always it to attach at the same time as it follows the mob or enemy but lose the reflect or we have to choose between the two. It will make it more useful.
The best way to use warden is to cast sword 3, summon warden, sword 3 for aoe root. Then you are melee and can attack until root is off, they got aggro on you, you can blurr til warden has done it’s damage.
To the OP: like any phantasm, they spawn allways random around target X. X can also be you (iDuellist or iSwordsman or iWarlock, etc). However the range between the summoned phantasm and target X is allways the same. So if 100 mesmers would summon all their wardens on a dummy in LA (do they still exist?), they would stay random around the target but create an almost perfect circle.
Everything clear?

Nice suggestion on the immob, I hadn’t thought of it like that before.
I too use sword #3 immob with iWarden, really helps.
I just wish it always spawned between the target and myself when traited so I could instantly benefit from the projectile reflect.
[TTBH] [HATE], Yak’s Bend(NA)
it normally even reflects projectiles when behind the target

Yeah, usually (maybe even always? I dunno, I’m sure there are some weird cases with weird attacks out there somewhere) as long as they’re in melee range, they’ll reflect the target’s projectiles.
best statistical loot in the game. We want everyone on an equal power base.”
Pre-launch, Colin listed things that make MMOs bad. They are all now in GW2.
