well im a fresh lvl 80 mesmer wanting to do wvw (greatsword mesmer) anyways i found bloodlust as a sigil also looking for the second sigil but wanting to know whats good im using zerker armor…also if u have any good build that would be great

Build + guide in my signature, it’s very hard to roam with though, takes a lot of practice, in teams it’s a lot easier and very, very, very powerful.

ty it looks pretty easy to learn…but why may i ask staff instead of sword focus?

would a pistol sword be good for a mesmer power build along with greatsword? or sword focus better…for wvw

For WvW Sword / Pistol or Sword / Torch are very viable set ups. The Staff / Greatsword build requires a slightly higher skill and is more appropriate to PvP (not that it won’t work in WvW). I’d take a look at some of the guides here such as the traditional Osicat videos and the newer Vash videos on how to position yourself. I think pyro still has some old WvW guides hanging around too so you could check them out, just remember that some things are outdated. The sticky at the top of this forum is very useful too.

Greatsword, sword/focus always. Use traited focus and it becomes the best utility weapon in wvw.
