im new to the mesmer and i like the gs but ive been told staff is better dps, is this true? i also wanna know the main stat for a mesmer power/vitality/precision… and im looking for a good build

It is unlikely that the staff will provide more dps, as it provides a whole lot more utility. Some builds can use a staff and do a lot of damage.

All stats are good for all classes. If you plan on doing a lot of conditions, then +condition is better than power and crit damage.

I use GS and love it, the damage is better than staff for my build. I am running a pure damage build, so my stats are all power, precision, crit damage. I run 30/30/0/0/10 to get as much power/prec/crit dmg as possible. I wear beserker gear including accessories you could say im glass cannon.
