Latly in the last fue days Ive seen an increase in a mesmer build spvp that is quite frankly mind numbing.

This is whats going on.

they open with a knockdown thats really long, once you get up they have all clones up, then they knock you down again and you get hit with tonns of conditions. now whats concerning is that i have 19000 hit points and they go through it in 1 second.

Where is Anets balance Team?

Uhhhh, you sure that was a mesmer? Like, really sure? 100%?

Because the mesmer has 1 knockdown(unless I’m missing something here) and you can’t do conditions AND shatter burst at the same time. Am I getting trolled here?

lol sounds like you got stomped… prob went something like this

GS #5 ""> izerker > GS #2 > roll"" and Daze/vulnerability shatter > wep swap > curtain/Into the void > ""Decoy+roll/mirror> Sword 3# > Swap > MIND CRUSH!""

Anything in "" means you were knocked down and didn’t see it prob.

Pretty sure GS#5 is a knockback, not a knockdown. Maybe you could have been knocked down thanks to mirror of anguish (chaos trait) but that implies you did the knockdown first. Mesmer don’t have any knockdown skills.

So… they manage to

1. Knock you down (by your own admission, for a long time)
2. Summon clones
3. Knock you down again
4. Hit you with tons of conditions (which deal damage over TIME)
5. Hit you with something else, I suppose, since you didn’t mention any burst attacks

…

All that in 1 second?

Just how many seconds do you think there are in a day, 100?

Mate, mesmers only have a pull and a knockback, and they are on 2 different weapon sets… So if a “mesmer” is knocking you down twice… I don’t even know what to you. Unless you are a bullrush frenzy 100b warrior and he had mirror images, in which case I’m going to laugh.

You pretty much said "I didn’t open this thread to have a discussion, or to learn anything about the class, or to have my obvious lies brought to truth, I opened this thread to get a direct nerf on the Mesmer because I said it is op therefore without a doubt it is and I should get my way.

Damage Per Second..19000 dps means that you can keep up 19000 damage every second for how long..? i’d say 10 secs, that’s my definition of dps.

I run a full berserker shatter mesmer and ofc there is no way you can keep up that kind of damage. I can burst a blue geared lvl 15 in WvW for..12-15k with a shatter combo..and then i’ll have to wait for a lot of cooldowns..yeah, i have 19k dps too man..

I want 19k dps, teach me. Nevermind, it sounds like a squish warrior not running a stun break.
