Simple really, every time I’m downed, there’s a 50/50 chance that people will try to resurrect the illusion rather than the real me. Which is quite entirely pointless since you can’t actually resurrect downed illusions even if you managed to get the bar to 100%.

Also being able to ‘resurrect’ broken illusions is a problem. in the middle of a corpse field.

I’d suggest removing the ability to resurrect illusions, it serves no purpose but to waste team-mates time.

I always find this funny. I was downed, and I ended up rallying off someone. One of my teammates ran in and tried to revive the downed clone. Meanwhile, I’m standing literally beside the clone, at full HP.

Ye, I remember resurecting some dying guy for half a minute…

What is even more annoying is when you are in a dungeon with some randoms and they spam chat with:

Dont Rez the mesmer they are bugged!

Every time you get downed and someone tries to rez you even if it is the real you.
Just incase anyone was wondering, if the rez symbol is blue its a player, if its grey its an NPC or clone. But its not that easy to tell and even harder if you are in a blob.

Did you know you actually gain experience for rezzing a downed clone, and in PvP it counts towards your “rezzed players” score if you can rez it before it vanishes? There have been a few times where I’ve dropped, created my clone then rallied and run over and rezzed my clone and gotten exp and points from doing so. It always cracks me up.

Omg sir!! That’s awesome info ty so much!! Now i wont make the mistake (as often) of rezzing my teams mesmers clone instead of the mesmer themself xD

i think it adds a layer to the interesting choice you have to make when you go down; to 2 or not to 2.

i think it’s a fun feature that goes well with the mesmer’s repertoire. i am always impressed when people figure it out and revive the correct one, and amused otherwise

No other class is penalized for using it’s downed skills, why should the Mesmer be? It does not help him in the slightest, and will cause teammates to waste valuable time when bringing you up from a fight.

It is not fun, it is simply frustration for both Mesmer and team-mate.

Honestly for any one that cares to learn you can tell the difference. It is not like they are 100% alike.
