Guild Wars 2

I play all classes and some with multiple characters. But when I popped on my warrior not once but twice to spvp 2 different nights. With the current meta being very mesmer friendly I had to fight lots of different mesmer builds. One thing that I ran into while doing so was me running from the horde of mesmers chasing me with 6+ illusions and so I blocked constantly when I could. Thing is memsers decide to walk next to me and shatter next to me and the damage is going through my block. Is that intended? I’ve played the class, searched around, asked guildies about it, and looked through traits. Nothing links to an unblock able shatter. And is it the shatter or is it the block that may be bugged if at all?

Shatter isn’t unblockable. You’re probably using a skill that provides aegis or will block a certain number of hits, and the shatter hits multiple times.

Nah its warrior shield block..has a longer duration than most blocks and during that duration mesmer shattered and damaged me and downed me and my duration on block wasn’t even 3/4 done. Thats what I’m trying to figure out..just how that happened because memser shatter, as far as I know, does not have an unblockable to it.
